A black magician kills 27 babies, each born under a different star, to attain extraordinary powers. However, he realises that he has to kill one more baby, born under a rare star, to become omnipotent. Pottu amman comes to rescue the baby from the Black magician.
Pottu Amman is a 2000 Indian Tamil-Telugu bilingual devotional drama film. The Tamil version was handled by K. Rajarathinam and produced by Mangala Productions, while the Telugu version, Durga was directed by R. K. Selvamani and produced by Ramprasad Reddy.
